Here’s Why Most People Create a Website with WordPress.
Unlike website builders, it’s completely free. If you’re new to website design, I recommend using WordPress because WordPress is the easiest platform to work with, and it’s flexible enough to suit everyone – small business websites, online shops, bigger organizations and so on. It’s the easiest to use and often faster when creating a new website. Get More Insight About Wordpress.
But more importantly:
You don’t need to enter any coding to get WordPress to do what you want. Through the use of thousands of free (and paid) themes and plugins, you can quickly create the perfect site in mere instants. However, it’s also easy to customize if you have coding knowledge. It’s perfect for users of all skill levels.
Advantages of Creating a Website Wordpress.
1. Code-Free Content Management.
The biggest benefit of WordPress is that it
can almost eliminate code from the day-to-day management of your website.
2.Easy to Change How Your Site Looks.
Every WordPress site needs something called a theme. Your theme defines how your site looks on the frontend.
3.Easy to Add New Functionality WordPress also offers something called plugins that allow you to easily increase the functionality of your site.
4.Rapid Development and Changes The combination of themes and plugins, along with WordPress’ general functionality as a content management system, indicates that you can quickly spin up even complicated websites.
Disadvantages of Creating a Website Wordpress.
You’ll find some people saying things like “static HTML websites load faster” or
“static HTML websites rank better in Google.” But some of this should be taken
with a grain of salt. While it’s true that PHP and a database introduces additional
load time and delays, it’s not that hard to get WordPress load times under one second – which is fast.
For some reason, you don’t want to build your site with WordPress, review out Drupal, Joomla and other alternative of wordpress guides as well . They are all FREE to use. But for the starters, I strongly recommend choosing to WordPress.
Don’t choose your platform right away. Most web hosting services offer one-click-installs for WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal. You can decide later and you don’t need to download/install anything.
2. Decide On A Domain Name and Web Hosting Provider.
Discovering a good web hosting provider and coming up with a good domain name which represents your business and also good for Search Engine Optimization(SEO) purposes. Both of these elements are immensely relevant if you want to build a successful website.
However, To install WordPress or any other type of website builder, it is required to have two things:
1. Domain Name (a web address like YourSiteName.com) When getting with a domain name, ask yourself: Does the domain name match the content? Is the name of your site short and good? Is the domain name easy to spell? Are you using the right domain extension, like .com or .net? Some extensions will not be accessible to you depending on where you live. Today, there is a slew of extensions accessible depending on industry and purpose. Be creative.
2.Web Hosting (a service that connects your site to the internet) Deciding on a hosting plan sets the foundation for building your site. Think of it like buying a plot of digital land to build your online structure.
